Senior Accountant

A leading group of Marine based companies with diversified portfolio of business is looking forward to recruiting a highly result orient and enthusiastic Senior Accountant
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage full set of accounts (General Ledger, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle manufacturing cost accounting (materials, labor, overheads, project costing)
Monitor retail operations, including inventory control, margins, and sales performance
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and BOI requirements
Strengthen internal controls and support audit functions
Liaise with production, stores, and sales teams for accurate financial reporting
Strong knowledge/experience in product pricing/control costs and ability to avoid cost overruns
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance
Experience in both manufacturing and retail sectors is essential
Full Professional qualification or pass finalists in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA
Strong knowledge of costing, inventory management, and financial reporting
Experience with ERP/accounting systems
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
