TRANSPORT EXECUTIVE
Plan, coordinate, and manage daily transport operations across the group, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods and personnel.
Oversee fleet management including vehicle allocation, preventive maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, and overall vehicle utilization.
Ensure compliance with all transport regulations, safety standards, and licensing, insurance, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, and HR to align transport services with business requirements.
Investigate and manage transport-related incidents, accidents, and insurance claims, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
Prepare and present regular transport performance reports, KPIs, and improvement recommendations to management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
A Diploma or Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in transport or fleet management, preferably within a large or multi-location organization.
Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan transport regulations and safety standards.
Proven experience in managing fleets, drivers, and operational costs.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with transport or fleet management systems will be an added advantage.
Salary 80K-100K (Negotiable)
