
Head of Central Procurement
(Hotel)
The ideal candidate will possess an extensive background in the 5-star hospitality sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of luxury standards and international sourcing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute a centralized procurement strategy to optimize spending across all business units while maintaining 5-star quality benchmarks.
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global and local suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
Cost Control: Implement robust cost-saving initiatives and budgetary controls without compromising on the guest experience or operational excellence.
Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all procurement activities align with corporate governance, sustainability goals, and legal requirements.
Supply Chain Optimization: Streamline logistics and inventory management processes to ensure seamless operations across multiple properties.
Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: A minimum of 10–15 years in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a 5-star hotel environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is highly preferred.
Expertise: Proven track record in managing large-scale CAPEX and OPEX budgets within the luxury hospitality industry.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills. Proficiency in advanced ERP systems and procurement software.
Attributes: High level of integrity, strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure corporate environment.
The salary is open to negotiation and will be based on the qualifications and experience of the suitable candidate.
