KEY JOB ROLE INCLUDES
Coordinate with the Dyehouse planner and other relevant sections, gather / analyze required information in order to prepare the dyeing plan, taking into account aspects such as machine capacities, colour breakdowns, etc and communicate the plan to other production functions.
Extract batch card information taking into consideration factors such as lot number, quality, colour, quantity, machine capacity etc, communicate/ transfer ownership of batch card to the process and follow up until goods are processed and delivered to Finishing Department.
Discuss / prioritize production orders taking into consideration customers’ requirements, technical or process related issues or other process bottlenecks in order to ensure that the customer front is kept fully updated of progression of orders within the production process.
Coordinate across shifts, allocate capacity based on delivery dates/colour sequence/ batches etc., coordinate with Colour Lab to resolve relevant issues, whilst taking into consideration all technical parameters and ensure production plan meets requirements for on time delivery to customers in the right quantity/ sequence.
Dye machine programming through Orgatex system for new program, improved versions of dye cycles, cycle time reduction through Smart Liquor.
Maintaining Water, Steam, Energy consumption, Stationery handling related docs & take actions to minimize the energy consumption, reducing stationery cost.
Communicate / review with planners on a regular basis regarding rejects / defects such as off color, uneven, shadings versus planned quantities in order to ensure that dyeing output is commensurate with that previously planned and communicated to customers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering Background.
1 Year Experience in similar capacity – Mill Experience.
Good Communication and MS Power point skills.
