Assistant Accountant – Costing
Skills Profile
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing related company.
Qualification in the final level of CA Sri Lanka, CIMA or ACCA / bachelor’s degree.
Hands-on experience in SAP HANA & advanced excel would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of cost accounting principles & Microsoft excel.
Job Profile
Analyzing the product margins in detail and reviewing the action required with the operations and sales to improve the margins.
Monitoring the input cost variations and purchase price index closely and identify the impact on the margin and recommend for margin corrections.
Preparing overhead and depreciation allocation and executing the standard cost run in the SAP HANA.
Performing the actual cost run in SAP HANA and checking the accuracy of the same comparing with the standard costing.
Performing the landed costing for the imported materials in SAP HANA.
Preparing the pre-costing and post costing of the shipments and monitoring the
movement in the landed cost for price correction.
Making the provision entries and completing the control account reconciliation in SAP HANA on a weekly basis.
Supporting pricing strategies by providing cost input & profitability analysis.
