Quality Assurance Supervisor

THE JOB INCLUDES
Assisting in developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures in operation and ensuring that relevant departments adhere to the implemented policies and procedures relating to Quality Management Systems.
Supervising the daily operation by maintaining quality standards, related documents and records pertaining to BRC, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP and SLS standards.
Identifying non-compliances and opportunities for further development of the process and implementing effective solutions for improvement as per the procedures.
Assisting in internal and external audits to establish and maintain a robust Quality & Food Safety Management System.
Preparing required reports, documents, and presentations as and when requested.
APPLICANT PROFILE
Minimum of 2-3years proven track record with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity in a manufacturing environment with exposure to best practices.
Prior experience in servicing in the tea export industry or in the packaging industry will be a definite advantage.
A sound academic background with G.C.E. Advanced Level in the science stream and an Advanced Diploma
or a Diploma or Certificate level professional qualification in Quality / Food Safety Management Systems.
Sound knowledge and experience in ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HACCP & BRC audits and FMCG Quality & Food Safety Management Systems.
Knowledge of microbiological, physical, and chemical properties as well as evaluating the nutritional value of food and ingredients will be an added advantage.
Willingness to work on a shift basis including nightshifts.
Salary 60,000-70,000/- (Negotiable)
